We would like to send a BIG Congrats to all of our Flyers who displayed grit, perseverance, heart and worked as a team throughout the 2023 playoffs. Many Flyer teams made it very far into the Finals. We are proud of you all.
Congratulations to our City Champs!
U11 A3 - Bside CITY CHAMPIONS!!
On behalf of Coach Anders, Coach Greg, Coach Kevin B, Coach Kevin K, Coach Keysoon, Coach Mitch, and Manager Lindsay: THANK YOU!!!!
This was one of my best experiences as a behind the bench volunteer.
And I certainly could not have done it without the support of our AWESOME coaches, team manager - and all of the AMAZING parents of these great kids! It was an honour to coach this talented group of kids - and it was an absolute pleasure interacting with all of the parents as well .
This was a great group of kids, a great group of families, and a great group of volunteers.
Thank you all again for an AWESOME season!!”
All the best,

U18 A1 CITY CHAMPIONS!!
The U18 A1 Flyers finished off an amazing season, winning the final in four games versus a very tough Ste. Eustache team. After losing the first game in overtime, the boys battled back to win the next three in a row, with the final game ending in a 4-0 victory.
The team came together and gelled very early in the season. They showed great commitment, work ethic, and a willingness to learn and play the right way. This lead to a great regular season in which we went undefeated (19-0-3).
We have three kids who are aging out, all captains and incredible leaders, Jake Brisebois, Enrique Espinoza, and Parker Beesley.
It was a pleasure to coach these kids, as well as the rest of the players. It really was a great and memorable season for the boys, and nice for them to end it off with a Championship Banner!

U18 A2 - BSide CITY CHAMPIONS!!
What a season! I couldn’t be happier to say that our boys are City Champs! We’re so immeasurably proud of the effort that these guys have put in, their willingness to learn and grow, and the camaraderie that’s grown between them over these many months. Hockey is a sport that not only demands skill, speed, and coordination, but teamwork as well. I can’t think of a more shining example of that than the team that I’ve been privileged to coach. I’m not in this boat alone though, as I’ve had some help from some truly exceptional volunteers. Our Manager Bruce Bertrand-Meadows, our Assistant Coaches Ryan Amadeo, Dustin Funk, and Easton Hyra, and all the support of our tremendous hockey parents. Congratulations boys, this is just the beginning!

To the Flyers moving on . . .
On behalf of our FGNHA coaches & executive board members I would like to personally thank and congratulate our 2005 born players who are ageing out of minor hockey this season. This group has set the bar on what it means to be Flyers. We hope the foundation has been set for lifetime involvement in hockey. We are very proud of all our 2005’s including Nick Arabsky who has been in our hearts all season.
